Waitrose Community Matters Scheme

Thanks to the generosity of Waitrose customers at Biggin Hill, Green St Green and Beckenham, the Community Matters green token scheme has helped raise £1186 for LATCH this year.

Support from this scheme enables LATCH to continue our work providing support to young homeless people in and around the London Borough of Bromley. Such a generous donation really does go a long way; for example £365 can cover a month's rent to their Host when a new client is still waiting for their housing benefit to be awarded, sometimes up to five weeks since lodging their application. This simply takes the financial strain and worry out of being newly "housed" but unable to pay the rent.
